Element Resistance: Wind and rain.

Fit Type: Pearl Izumi calls the fit ‘Form Fit’ which is supposed to be snug to the body. 

Materials: The Summit Shell Jacket features ultra lightweight Barrier Lite fabric.  This fabric has terrific wind stop and breathability characteristics while an eco-friendly C6 water resistant DWR treatment sheds precipitation nicely.  You will find a two-way YKK Vislon front zipper that can be zipped from the bottom up for easy venting while on the move.  BioViz reflective elements help keep you visible when the visibility is low. 

Pockets Position and Quantity: An interior envelope pocket doubles as stuff pocket to pack jacket into.  

Hood: Yup.  But it’s not an over the helmet hood- it’s an under the helmet hood.  It’s thin enough to fit under your helmet without issue. 

Pros: Great looking jacket on and off the bike.  Built-in stow pocket. YKK zipper. Good wind and water protection. Very lightweight!

Cons: If you want something fluro or colourful you’ll have to look elsewhere.
