The cogs are all steel and mounted to an aluminium Beam Spider to keep things nice and rigid and the weight as low as possible. The cassette features Shimano’s Hyperglide+ technology to provide smooth and precise up and down shifts, even while under load. 

Available in 10-51t and compatible with Microspline freehubs only.

Cons: The cassette is all steel, without any alloy cogs so there is a bit of a weight penalty but not too much. It’s only 60-70g heavier than the SLX cassette.
