The Shimano SLX BR-M7120 is a four-piston disc brake caliper that has benefited from the trickle-down of technology from the XT and XTR models. Four pistons provide you with huge stopping power but also have more modulation than the two-piston models. The calipers ship with both finned NO3A (resin) pads but they are also compatible with N0C4 (metallic) as well as the non-finned D03S (resin) or D02S (metallic) pads.
