SQlab’s 711 Stuby Grip is a combination of an ergonomic ‘comfort’ grip and bar-end, providing multiple hand positions which also lead to differences in riding position to help relieve discomfort or improve power transfer.
The short curved rubber grip locks to your handlebar and provides a soft platform for your palm to allow you to reduce your grip pressure whilst still maintaining control. The broader support better distributes the weight you place on your hand and the slight curvature of the grip places your hands in a more natural position. Perforations in the top of the grips move sweat away from your hands and the underside of the grips provides tread for added traction on your fingertips.
In the second position, the wrist and hands are rotated outward and the bar-end fits snuggly in your fist thanks to the contoured shape. When using this hand position when seated, the rider sits a little more upright and the hands are relaxed, relieving pressure on the wrists, shoulders and neck. The advantage to using this position when standing is that more force can be applied through the pedals due to the increased leverage from the hands being placed at the outer ends of the handlebars.
With multiple sizes available, you’ll be able to choose the grip diameter that suits your hand size to ensure maximum comfort.
