Pearl Izumi Select Women’s Short Liner Clothing

You will never have to choose between the comfort of a traditional bike short or the breathability of a liner again. Designed to be worn under shell shorts, the women specific Pearl Izumi Select liner features a mesh fabric throughout for excellent air flow. Combined with the Select Escape 1.1 Chamois and you have comfortable unrestricted pedaling all day long.
 
Who’s this item for: Female riders after a liner short that breathes well under shell shorts and doesn’t restrict movement. Its great for all types of riding but especially good where there is a lot of pedaling involved (XC, Trail or Enduro). 

Time in the saddle: The actual time is not listed by Pearl Izumi but it is the lower end of their chamois 1:1 range in terms of time.

Chamois material: Not listed by Pearl Izumi, but it is a quick dry chamois with a medium density seat pad.

Stand out features: The Escape 1:1 Chamois provides excellent moisture transfer and odor resistance. The mesh fabric main body prevents over heating, while the fabric on the lower legs is designed to allow shorts to move over it freely without friction. They do not feature a leg gripper for better comfort.

Liner material and inseam length: The main body of the lining is made from 80% polyester and 20% elastane. The non slip legs are made from 88% nylon and 12% Lycra. They feature an 8″ inseam.

Pros: They feature a female specific fit which contours to your body. The chamois provides excellent protection and moisture transfer.

Cons: If you are looking for a liner for longer rides you might want to look for an Elite or Pro level 1:1 chamois.
