In some cases the product will just need a good wash/polish to clean it up, in other cases the cosmetic damage won’t be visible if you’re standing a couple of metres back from the part. An affordably priced SPD shoe that loves to pedal, the Shimano SH-XC1 has got what it takes to provide efficient pedalling performance and comfort and with a close-fitting, glove-like fit. The shoes secure with pressure spread evenly via three durable hook and loop straps with the top strap offset slightly for extra comfort. The glass fibre reinforced sole provides excellent power transfer and the rubber XC racing pattern outsole promotes stable pedal engagement and secure walking grip.

Who’s it For: The XC1 is best suited to XC and Trail riding.

Pedal Interface: These are clipless and will be compatible with any brand/model of MTB cleats. 

Closure: The shoes secure with evenly spread pressure via three durable hook and loop straps with the top strap offset slightly for extra comfort.

Upper Materials: Perforated synthetic leather composite upper with surround wrapping structure provides a glove-like fit and excellent breathability.

Last/Width type: The XC1 uses Shimano’s Dynalast, an anatomically curved last that eliminates hard angles and conforms better to the natural contours of the foot. The heel sits deep in the shoe and shoes hug the foot—this is quite a narrow, close-fitting shoe. 

Cleats: Fits any 2 hole MTB Style Cleat. Cleats are not included.
